Mark Andreatta is giving the Roseville High School students a chance to see Europe, taking the students to Rome, Florence, Switzerland, France, Paris, Assisi, and London. The trip will take place June 21 and come back on July 4.

Andreatta has been to Europe many times and finds joy in seeing the students experience new things.

“For me it’s the same every year, It’s getting to introduce people to something they’ve never seen before and that’s the joy in it for me,” Andreatta said.

Getting to experience a whole new culture is something the students look forward to.

“You get a lot of students and parents and they get to experience something for the first time out of american culture which is fun,” Andreatta said.

Andreatta enjoys the history about Europe and experiencing being able to be in famous historic places himself.

“When you walk into a cathedral that’s four hundred years older than America as a nation in terms of our government that kind of puts it into perspective,”Andreatta said.

Being able to know spiritually what happened in Europe is a feeling Andreatta enjoys.

“This summer we are going to Versailles again and being able to walk in the Hall of Mirrors and know what took place there in terms of big historical events and just the spiritual impact of that and everything is really kind of cool,” Andreatta said.

The Europe trip’s popularity on the RHS campus is growing in popularity and more and more students are eager to learn and see a new culture every year.

“It’s grown, the first year we started with six students and now we are taking twenty five this year, and next year I hope even more go. Next year we have a meeting on Tuesday night at six thirty in my room and we are going to similar places but also adding Germany to the trip,” Andreatta said.
